This is how to be frugal and chic. You wouldn't think those two words even go together. Someone commented recently that I give off frugal but like quiet luxury vibes at the same time. That to me is like the biggest compliment because I talk a lot about how to save money and things I don't spend money on. The last thing that I want to give off is that I'm cheap. Here are some ways to be frugal and chic. Number one, having one signature scent. One niche luxury perfume. You don't need one of those trays with a million perfumes. Let's be honest, the amount that you probably spend on body spray, various scented body creams, like by the time you done on that you could just literally buy a nice perfume. Number two is having like a really nice lunchbox, either glass or stainless steel. Makes that frugal activity chic. They definitely look better than a Tesco meal deal. Number three, being a chronic outfit repeater. You would actually think that this is very unchic. Wearing the same thing everyday is actually how you build a personal style. All of the greatest fashion icons and successful business people have all had a signature uniform that they repeat again and again. Okay, if you're frugal and chic, you know how to reuse. Say for example you have a Diptyque candle that you've used up. You're not just going to throw that away, you're going to reuse it for cotton buds. You have a designer dust bag, this is going to be used as a laundry bag when you go away. If you're frugal and chic, you're always thinking of ways to make things last longer than the intended purpose. Number five, having a stacked investment account. I think it's the ultimate flex. For people to not really know what your financial situation is, you turn up in the same outfit, you bring your Tupperware to work, but your investment account looks like this and no one else knows. Unless you're me and you like to overshare everything online. Having an emergency fund, having your savings and investments all figured out, that to me is a sign that you're frugal and chic.
