So if I could give any word of advice to a founder or an entrepreneur, it would definitely be this. And that would be to stop focusing on social media and your marketing and turn your attention to brand strategy. And this is exactly why. People think that if they market more or if they can improve their marketing, it's going to get their consumer to care. But then they find themselves constantly throwing things at the wall or chasing trends and just hoping something sticks. If you're marketing your brand and your consumer isn't connecting with it, it probably has little to do with your marketing and a lot more to do with the message that you're sending through your marketing. You might be wondering, well then how do I improve my messaging? And the answer starts with determining your brand strategy. What brand strategy is so good at is changing how your consumer perceives your brand. When I'm consulting my clients, I always say this is how we take you from overlooked to obsession-worthy. Because instead of blending into the crowd and using the same marketing tactics that everyone else is using, you get to have the foundation of brand strategy that's so hyper-focused on your consumer. From there you can actually fix what the problem is, which isn't making more reels or using more hashtags, but it's actually rearranging how the consumer perceives your brand in their mind. And that is going to be what supercharges and honestly simplifies your marketing efforts. Plus, it will make your brand a thousand times more memorable.
