Your path looks messy because you're building something original. Messy equals experimenting, trying new things, investing in something or skills that don't make sense yet. Being multi-passionate in a world where you're meant to be one-dimensional, messy could be being curious, getting your hands messy, to be your hands in multiple projects. Messiness can actually be a movement, the thing that gets you to where you wanna be. Your zig zags and your non-linear path teaches you to be adaptable. Your pivots and your shifts and your redirections make you more innovative. Your skills and your strengths will make you richer. Your experiences, your curiosity, being multi-passionate will build your credibility. Linear paths will create specialists, and there's a time and place for specialists and having a linear path. Non-linear paths will create leaders from experiences. Your originality will come from your range. The thing was to have the linear path, climb one ladder, niche down, work really hard, focus on one thing, get promoted, um, but that's not really the thing anymore. Having range is really the flex. And right here at our fingertips, especially TikTok, and creating content on social media allows us to market and portray our range. We're in an era where people with the most range, with curiosity, the most messy on paper, the really intense backgrounds, the hop, skippity jumps, the zig zags are the ones building empires. And I love to see it so much. So really understand that. You can build something amazing and great and huge, and it doesn't have to be one thing, one specific linear path. You're going to zig and zag up and down different directions, but that's how you create something amazing.
