Here's how to lock someone in after they follow you, a.k.a. Having them be a part of your community. So it's one thing to grow your account. It's another thing to get people to stay, engage and be a part of your community. Okay, so that is what I want to talk about. So number one, you need key repetitive brand statements throughout your post. So these aren't what I say. Opinions. Everyone has opinions. These are brand beliefs that you back up. This is going to repel the wrong people and lock in the right people who appreciate your perspective, who understand your brand beliefs, who are like, okay, yes. I love the way that she says this. And also the repetitiveness is going to help build a brand. You want to repeat. It's going to have people, when they see things or around those statements, they think of you. Right. So one of mine is, you don't need a niche. You need a personal brand. Or you can be known for multiple things, or non linear paths are in. You will hear me talk about those keywords in those statements all of the time. It locks people in. You don't need new content all the time. You need to repeat certain beliefs, and it's going to really get people locked into the way that you think and your perspectives. And repetition builds brands. No.2. Storytelling. Storytelling. Or we could call this wisdom sharing content, which I know a lot of you appreciated from a few of my videos. Basically, it's putting you into the perspective of how you are doing things, how you achieve something, how you've gotten over some type of challenge. So this could be micro stories or creating some type of bond with your audience through storytelling. Storytelling locks people in because, they can either see themselves in your story, or they feel something. They feel that emotion through your story, or they just appreciate the transparency. They're more likely to tune in and stay. Okay, um, or like wisdom sharing content, instead of like, how to do this, how I did this, how I went from point A to point B, how I did this without this, how I overcame this. People appreciate storytelling and the transparency and the vulnerability. They are more likely to stay in. Tune in. No.3. Responding to comments as much as possible. Generating conversation in your comments with people. Um, because as you state your beliefs and stand up and against something, as you share stories, you are going to create conversation with your people. But responding to comments, if you're not responding to your comments, I mean, there comes a point when it can be difficult, but especially while you're trying to generate community. Respond or respond in a video. Right. If someone asks a question in the comments, respond in a video. Um, it's going to get people to thoroughly engage with you. More and more. And lastly, for good measure, face to cam content. This is all of everything that I kind of shared with you. Is hard to do with just B roll and trending audio over it. Um, face to cam is going to humanise your content. People are gonna feel like they're on Facetime with you. And yes, like, face to cam tips I've done many times. Like, I can do another video on that, but, like, this is a great way to lock people in. People aren't doing face to cam enough. Like, I'm talking face to cam content on a daily basis. Is great to generate conversation and community. People wanna feel like they're on Facetime. They like just you raw, showing up as your authentic self. People really appreciate that. It takes time to generate community, but don't focus so much on growth all of the time. Make sure you're focusing on community engagement as well.
