So this is an NFC sticker and you can program these stickers to do anything that you want them to do and last video I made it so that every time my dog got fed it sent a message to my family group chat. This is part 2 of building things in real life because software has become so boring lately and I'm going to be using these stickers again but I'm going to be using them to track how much water I drink in a day. I drink a ton of water and I know how important it is but I cannot be bothered to just track how much water I'm drinking so I put a sticker on my water bottle and every time I finish drinking my water bottle I can tap my phone against it and it's gonna log it inside of an app so let's build this. Okay so this is where we're at now we have this stupidly simple web app and then we're gonna make it so every time we tap this with our phone this is gonna go up. This is cool but I think I wanna make it a widget on my phone so I don't have to go to a website every time I wanna check. So now I have this widget that I can just click and it automatically opens up. So all this is is an Next.js TypeScript website connected with apple shortcuts and I think my next thing is gonna be using this raspberry pi to create a force sensor so I don't have to tap it every time. I can just lift it up and down and it will tell how much I drank.
