Expensive equipment won't make you a better content creator. Unless your content is already making big money, you don't need to be overspending on equipment. I'm going to show you the exact equipment I use to create high quality UGC. First up, I film everything on my iPhone. It's reliable and lets me film anywhere without overthinking it. Then for lighting, I always prioritize natural light first. But living in the UK, this can be a little bit tricky. So this portable light follows me everywhere. It is the best thing that I've ever bought. It is super bright considering its size. You can also change between warm and cool light and the battery life on this is really, really good. For the days that I need a little bit more coverage, I always use my Neewer ring light. 10 out of 10, but I don't live without this. Now for tripods, I do use two different ones. I have this tall one for talking to the camera videos. It has AI tracking as well, which is really cool if you move around. It has its own clicker as well, so you can start and stop your videos from wherever you're standing. I also have this smaller tripod for if I'm filming on top of a desk or if I've got smaller space. This one comes in really handy and fits nice and cutesy in my bag. I highly recommend getting yourself a power bank because filming drains your battery way faster than you expect. I love this one because not only can it charge my phone, but it can also charge my laptop. So when I'm out and about, I carry this and I'm good to go. I cannot stress enough how much you need a microphone. It doesn't have to be the most expensive one. This one was like 20 pounds on Amazon, but it helps give you that crispy clear audio. For storage, I use a two terabyte SSD so that I'm not constantly running out of space. This is more UGC specific, but I highly recommend this product photography backdrop. I bought mine on Amazon, but I actually found a cheaper alternative on TikTok. And I cannot recommend this enough. I use this in every single one of my product shots.
