Hook

Most UGC is actually terrible. Stay with me because I'm going to tell you exactly why brands don't want it and how to fix that. Brands don't pay for vibes or aesthetics. A lot of UGC looks nice, but if it doesn't build trust, answer questions, or convert viewers into buyers, then it gets ignored. Your videos need a clear structure. First up is the hook. This is what stops the scroll in the first two or three seconds. It should interrupt a pattern, change an assumption, or make someone feel something. Next is the product introduction. This shouldn't be, 'Hi guys, this is what product I'm using today.' It should clearly answer, 'Who is this for?' and 'How does this help them?' Introduce the problem, then introduce the product as the solution to the problem. Number three, the body. This is where you make the product feel real. Show it in use and how you would use it in your everyday life. And finally, the CTA. Now, this isn't about selling, it's more about direction. Tell the viewer what they should do next. Learn more, click here, save for later. When content feels usable, brands will pay for it. If this helped you see why your content isn't landing paid deals, then save this so that you can use it next time you're scripting. Comment below if you want me to break this down further with real examples. And if you want extra support with this, I have lots of creator resources in my bio, including a free UGC starter kit.
