UGC without UGC is just aesthetic product shots. It's not. One of the biggest beginner mistakes is thinking that UGC is just aesthetic product shots. It's not. Hi, I'm Ademide and this is the UGC Playbook where I break down how to create UGC that brands actually pay for. UGC requires a user. UGC works because there is a user in the content. Brands want to see a real person talking directly to the camera. Before scripting, pitching, and rates, you need to get comfortable speaking to the camera. When you're about to film, go to your camera settings and make sure to have your grid turned on. And when you start filming, make sure to center yourself in the lower two-thirds of the frame. This gives you space above your head and allows you to add in captions and text that allow your videos to look more structured. Next, master your filming setup. Stick to one filming setup and master it. Consistency is important. Consistency helps people to know what to expect from you and allows them to focus on your message. And finally, audio matters just as much as visual. If your voice is not clear, people will scroll. So I highly recommend getting an external mic rather than just your phone mic. This week is all about getting comfortable on camera. So comment camera if you are committing to becoming more comfortable on camera and save this for your next filming day. If you do post, tag me in the video.
