Y'all have been on my neck about sharing my camera settings, so I'm sharing them in this video, so you better watch the damn thing. In case you're here for the first time, hi, I'm Ademide and this is the UGC Playbook where I break down how to create UGC the brands actually pay for. First up, turn on your grid and level. Most people know the grid helps with framing, but the level is the real secret. It's the little crosshair that pops up when your phone is perfectly straight. Switch it on and your videos will never look wonky again. Now let's talk about frame rate because I think there's a lot of confusion around this. In simple terms, if you're doing a talking head or a clip where there's not too much movement, you're fine with 24 to 30 frames per second. But if you're doing roadrunner, zooming around all over the place, please go ahead and use 60 frames per second so that it will be smooth and not blurry. And finally, please don't trust auto exposure. You're going to cry when you start editing. Press and hold on the thing that you want your camera to focus on. You'll then see that little sun icon and you can scroll up and down. Don't go above 0.3 or minus 3 because if you do, it starts to look a little crazy, okay? It stops your videos from looking overly washed out or too dark. I put my exact camera settings here, screenshot. Hopefully that was helpful and in my next video we're going to go over filming.
