I am launching not one, but two brands this year and my budget is very, very tight. So I have been doing research into what other brands have done has as inspiration and I thought I would share my homework so that you can steal it. In no particular order, here we go. The first I really liked was from a brand called Salt. It's an electrilight drink supplement. Uh they used Strava to spell the word slut out because it is a really close misspelling of their brand name that it was a really clever way to just kind of create some content and get some get noticed and get people talking about what it was they were doing. Second is from Sir Kensington, the conment brand. They launched the Museum of Fries with a fry supplied by some of the most famous chefs in New York to be able to talk about their ketchup. The third is from the brand girlfriend collective. When they were first launching their leggings, instead of spending money on an ad campaign, they just gave away leggings to people who could be their customers. All you had to do was pay for shipping. The fourth is from a much smaller business called Charlie's Burger in Shanghai. Now when I used to live in China, I went to all the time, there was three, and every week, twice a week actually, I think, they held a run club where they would start at one of the locations, run a loop around the other two and back to the first. This is really cool because not only did it create community. They also give you a discount on your at the end. 5. Who gives a crop toilet paper? When they were first for their lunch, like doing a kit, they actually streamed one of the founders sitting on the toilet until all of the money that they needed was raised. I think this is a really clever way to get attention. Number six is from the brand Fazit. I don't know how to pronounce it. Uh but they're the ones that make those glitter freckles. Now when they were first trying to get the brand like word about the brand out and gift it to people, they decided they really want to to wear their brand who doesn't. But in order to make that happen, I don't want to spoil how they went about it. You can hear the story by listening to the female founder world podcast, but I love the tale of how they actually went about strategically gifting people around in order to be able to encourage her to wear the product. And then number seven, Graza olive oil. Their influencer launch engagement was really, really interesting. You can read all about it on getsaral.com. I really liked the way they went about this. It was very thoughtful and very strategic and not just based on like really big end of town influencers. If you have any other stories of brands that have done interesting things with very little money or you've got ideas of your own, I would absolutely love to hear them because I really need to make every single dollar work for me this year in order to be able to pull off what I'm hoping to do. So, hit me up in the comments.
