Call me delusional but

Call me delusional but I don't think my life was meant to be average. Three years ago I blew it all up. I was thirty three stuck in an almost ten year relationship going nowhere. Just got laid off and months before lost a political campaign I poured everything into. I didn't even realize how rough it was. Six months later I finally walked away from it all and it felt amazing. Terrifying but amazing. Like my whole life was about to glow. Since then I've been knocked down a few more times. Lost two more jobs. One put a serious dent in my mental health. Family stuff I'm still working through. And my body's going through perimenopause which, yeah, we need to talk more about. But here's the thing I'm in the best relationship of my life. I've rebuilt my career and I'm still not satisfied. Because I know my life is not meant to be average. So this is no more average. Getting smarter, richer, healthier, hotter. And this is day one.
