Unhinged Things You Can Do If You Want Fame Fast (According to a Publicist)

I really shouldn't be showing these tips because so much more goes into PR creation and image creation and they are a little bit unhinged but if you are interested in getting your name out there getting attention or fame quickly then here are a few things you can do. So the first thing you can do is date the right person. This is an old school PR trick that most publicists use. PR reps will get together to arrange relationships to boost box office tickets or just publicity in general. Another way you can do this is by doing a strategic "soft launch" your relationship or whoever it is that you're dating. Another simple thing you can implement is being photographed at the "right" places. A lot of celebrities and their teams tip off photographers about dinners and them being photographed coming out of high profile places, particularly this happens in New York and Los Angeles. Other places include fashion week front rows, art fairs like frieze or accidentally being seen leaving a restaurant or a workout class. Another thing you can do is curate interviews. Publicists are do select specific publications with our client's brand and profile. So of course top tier print magazines, digital sites and TV is what we are aiming for. But if you're not there yet you can think about targeting long form interviews on platforms as celebrities, influencers that are starting to do that now or just approaching your own social media like it is a news platform because it is.
