So, I might have missed the Alaya sample sale, but I couldn't miss that Issey Miyake sample sale. Hi, I'm Kalysse. I have immaculate taste and welcome back to building my forever wardrobe. My fashion series that highlights my interpretation of building a not-so-basic capsule wardrobe where I highlight new purchases and fire pieces that are filling the gaps in my closet. I mean, as you can see, I was deep up in that friends and family sale and I scored this entire rack of clothing for 75 to 95% off, which I feel like is quite unheard of when it comes to this brand, which is why I'm so excited to share with y'all. Let's jump right into these beautiful pieces. The hair is taking up half the frame, I don't care. Now I'm going to try to keep this as rapid fire as I can because the coat is easy to try on. Let me get it to it real quick. Sadly, because my last black wool coat was stolen, I felt like this was a beautiful replacement, even more elevated than the one I had in the past. The quality and structure, immaculate. I was immediately drawn to the details of the sleeves and the shoulders. I mean, fab. For knitwear, I grabbed this sweater and this cardigan. More recently, I find myself prioritizing items that offer a bit more freedom and textile innovation. That's why I kind of really just love these. And I'm at the stage where I want my clothes to just do the work for me. I don't want to have to think too too deep into it and something like this, a simple, easy black knit set. Now, definitely one of my favorites. This dress feels really special and I'm excited to find an occasion to wear it. Yeah, absolutely another favorite. Something like this or even something like this is so easy. They don't wrinkle, they don't require steaming, and they just create their own silhouette the moment that you put them on. And that's exactly why I love this brand so much. And I want to say I saw this linen wrap coat, I immediately thought that these two would look really nice together.
