I actually wanted to make this change last year, but I was scared. I kept thinking people wouldn’t be able to find me, that my last name would be too hard to spell or say. Just excuse after excuse, honestly. Then I had a conversation with another creator and they said, “If your entire brand depends on your handle, you’ve got bigger problems.” And that really stuck with me. At the end of the day, my name is my brand because it’s me. So long term, this just makes a lot more sense. I'm not a strategist, I'm not a social media manager. I'm just someone who loves to create content and so I'm going to continue sharing things I've learned to help you get over your fear of actually creating content and hopefully you start making a little bit of money on these very apps that we have at our fingertips. Don't be afraid of my last name, okay? I know it's a little intimidating. It's just Petra-Ki-e-va. You can just say Alex B. You can still say Alex on a budget, whatever you want. But yeah, now it is actually my name. It is Alex Petrakieva.
