I created this step-by-step checklist for anybody who wants to get a grip on their finances, quit overspending, and start reaching financial goals because you can absolutely follow a budget, stay on budget, and it doesn't even have to take like a lot of effort. Really, it's just the setup part you have to make through. I'm a super spender who a couple years ago I only had like $1,000 to my name and now fast forward, I have $30,000 in savings and over six figures invested. Part of that is because I started making more money. A lot of that is because I figured out a way to manage my money that meant I wasn't spending every dollar I came into contact with. I believe that money organization, aka what happens to your paycheck once you get it, can dictate whether or not you're going to stay on budget. So this is essentially my manual for setting up your money organization in a way that sets you up to win. So I broke it up into three major steps. Number one, budget. Put together your roadmap. Number two, banking. Where to open an account and then what to do when you have that account open. Last but not least, I have to-dos for setting up automatic transfers, which is such an important and underrated piece of the puzzle. Having your money automatically move around and take care of itself relieves so much mental pressure. I will say, full disclaimer, that my banking instructions are specific to Crew Finance because that's where I like to hold all of my money. Crew Finance accounts are high-yield spending accounts and they're no fees, no minimums. Anyway, I hope you found this helpful and your finances are on their way up. I feel it, I feel it in my bones. You got this.
