There is probably an 18 to 24 month window, maybe less, where any motivated AI-native creative can actually escape the matrix. Like, for real. Here's how it works. You get really good at these tools like Claude. You use them to build an audience. You sell something to that audience, then you use AI to drive down the cost of delivering that service to that audience so that your margins go up, right? You do that well enough, you can maybe build something that gets acquired, or you just keep compounding until you hit a number that actually changes your life. That's the AI arbitrage window. It's open right now, but it's not going to be open for that much longer. So for me, like my goal isn't retirement, it's hitting an inflection point where, by age 40, I only need to work on things that give me joy, right? And I think that's possible. Creative generalists are uniquely set up to take advantage of this, but the window is really short, so the urgency is high right now.
