presenting our Q1 spending wrapped to my husband. Yes we did. How do the finances look? I know it's a lot of travel so we'll see. Let's see. Combined gross pay of $55,994. Pretty good. It's like a yearly salary for two one person. But always gonna get you. Always gonna get you. Took about half of that. Yeah. To be fair it wasn't just Uncle Sam. It was healthcare, Uncle Sam, retirement, Uncle Sam. But Uncle Sam, will you come back? Uncle Sam came back and said here's a tax return. Period. Forty five hundred dollars. Ayye. So we have thirty five thousand dollars to work with for Q1. Hmm, tell me. I added five thousand dollars back in that was automatically deducted from our checks. Okay, but we invested $11,645. We did heavy into our Roth IRAs, about two thousand dollars to each one of our employer retirement plans and 1200 dollars to your mandatory pension. Pop quiz, which category do we spend the most in? It's either travel or transportation cause you got your car fixed multiple times but you also buy a lot of flights for future stuff. That's also true. I'm gonna say travel. Yeah, that was correct. This is a colorful pie chart of everything. I almost said a Venn diagram. Florida education. Quarter of our money went to housing, 20% to our Roth IRA. We killed that. That's good. 8% transportation, 11% to travel, 10% to gifts and donations, 8% personal care. Housing. Our mortgage costed $7,587, which is about $85 a day. Do you feel like we got worth $85 a day in our house? I mean it's a roof over my head and I ain't in a Motel 6. So. Pop quiz. How much did we pay our mortgage principal down? Hint, seventy five hundred went towards our mortgage. How much should the principal actually go down? I watch your videos. So. My videos? Yeah. Our videos. The page is literally called Ashton and Ana. Well, I watch our videos. It's like $400 for the full mortgage payment. For principal? Yeah, principal. Like one. Number one? Yeah. There you go. How do you feel about only 1500 dollars went to our principal? Uncle Sam gotta get his taxes I guess. Transportation. Um, my car that is gone now. RIP Mini. That was one of the leading transportation expenses. She needed to be fixed multiple times. Repairing her about 1200 dollars, gas about 1200 dollars, your car note about 1200 dollars. Leading travel expense. We're going to Dubai? We're not going to Dubai. This is a picture from Google. Most of it was future stuff that we booked. Future flights. I'll get to this later, but this 1400 dollar number should have actually been double, but shout out the Capital One Venture X card. All the miles we get. Future cruise, Philly. This is the only place we actually travel to in Q1. That was pretty fun. Unrivaled for unrivaled basketball. Too good to go. Pt 2 coming shortly!
