In case the world made you forget, here are four things that are just not normal when you're in your 20s. Number four is having a high paying job right after college. No. 4 is having a high paying job right after college. If you didn't know the economy and the job market is the hardest it's ever been. So don't feel bad if you're working a server job or part-time jobs to make ends meet before you get that high paying job that you used your degree for. Number three is living on your own. Number three is living out and moving on your own. It's totally normal while you're in your 20s to actually move back in with your parents and save money. Times are really hard and do not feel bad if you're living with your parents. Sometimes it's a better financial decision and even having roommates is also a great decision. Number two is traveling the world. Social media makes it seem like everyone in the 20s is just traveling the world while having all this money. However, that's a lot of them are just using credit card debt. It's totally normal to not travel to Europe every year and to just go on a couple vacations if that and very budget friendly. And number one is buying a home. And number one, I'm sure you've guessed it is buying a home in your 20s. A lot of my realtor friends have actually told me people that buy their homes in their 20s were actually gifted that money for the down payment and they wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. And if you have been able to do all the things that I just said, good for you, but I just want to make sure that you don't feel behind when the average American is not doing any of these. Make sure to follow for more money moves that actually build wealth.
