Hook

if you're looking to buy a car in 2026 do these four things to make sure you don't get scammed. No. 4 know exactly what car. A lot of time people go to the dealership without actually knowing what model they actually and they'll just get up charged into a vehicle that they don't want. No. 3 negotiate out the door price. So a lot of times when you're negotiating with the dealers, they all talk about the monthly payments. However, that does not matter. You want the total price out the door that actually affects your monthly payments and everything else way more. Number two is just worry about the title tax and doc fee. These are all the fees that dealerships cannot actually remove. Everything else that they're adding on there just to make money can totally be removed even though they say otherwise. So that tire protector, the window cleaner, none of that is useful and you don't need any of that. And number one, the most important one is be willing to walk away. The things about dealerships is they know when you really want the car and they have no wiggle room. So if you really want the best negotiating terms, you have to be willing to walk away because there are hundreds of dealerships that will probably make you a better deal.
