Maybe I'm wrong...but Chicago creators / entrepreneurs don't celebrate each other enough

Maybe I'm wrong...but Chicago creators / entrepreneurs don't celebrate each other enough So this message is for the Chicago creator economy here in the city. But I feel like there's a little bit of, um, the creators here don't move collectively, um, as a sense in regards to like promoting each other a lot. Um, I'm from Texas. I grew up, um, in Austin area, San Antonio. And I would say in particular in Austin, like everybody collaborates together or is trying to help each other win. Um, and it's just like that's how everybody is there. Um, there's a lot more transplants in Austin, but the community there is so pushing, right? Like you see somebody with 5,000 followers, you see somebody with 15,000, you see somebody with 50,000. Like they all kind of hang out together, like they're all in the same mission and they help each other. Um, same thing as in San Antonio. San Antonio's on a smaller scale, but creators there are so friendly to people and people who are like entrepreneurial, etc. It's very small business friendly. Um, and in Chicago, it's a little bit different. Um, it's kind of like the sentiment of the city is like, you didn't go to a big ten school, you didn't go from Ohio or Illinois or Iowa, like, you know, like you can't sit with us type of stuff. And I've had some really nice people in Chicago, I appreciate y'all. I'm not gonna name y'all. Um, but I would say in particular, like, um, to me, like, I follow people, I follow you because I think you're a value and I think we can do business together, or we could be, it would be a good to collaborate. Right? It's just like, I don't just follow people to digest it. I follow you because I think you're a value and I think that we can do business together. Or we could, you know, it would be a good to collaborate. I don't know. I just feel like the Chicago creator economy, it is good and there are good people here, um, but to me, I feel like people are kind of like stuck up a little bit. And maybe that's just how the city is and you know, no digs on anybody. Um, yeah, that's just kind of like my two cents on the creator economy here.
