My latest AI coding obsession

My latest AI coding obsession is using GPT 5.5 inside of the latest Codex desktop app. I mean, seriously, it is my most used app this entire week. There are three primary things that keep drawing me back to using GPT 5.5 inside of the Codex desktop app as a founder and developer. Number one, it has the best and fastest browser use tool I have ever seen before. I have no idea what the OpenAI team is doing, but they are cooking so hard because compared to any other browser use tools that I've played around with, it is so much faster and way more accurate. It's borderline reaching human speeds at this point. Sometimes I see it use the in-app browser inside the Codex desktop app, and it's almost faster than me. Number two is the auto-review feature. Basically, whenever your AI agent is going off and doing some work for you, it classifies every single task that it's doing, and if it thinks that it's a low-risk task, it lets it keep going off in the background so that it can just keep working and building autonomously. But if it detects that it's a higher risk task, it stops everything and it flags you, and only executes that particular command if you give it explicit approval to do so. For me, it's been the perfect balance of that human in the loop working with an AI agent that I've encountered so far. And lastly, it's the first AI super app that truly feels like it can do it all. I mean you saw the screenshot of my stats earlier. I'm literally living inside of Codex because it is my most used app these days. But because I'm a founder, I'm also wearing a lot of different hats, and some days I have to make slide decks to pitch to investors, and other days I have to film and edit launch videos to talk about brand-new features that I'm building inside of my app. And Codex is the one app that I find myself using to do all of these various tasks that I have to do as a founder, and it does it all really, really well. I feel like Codex is having its ChatGPT moment, and honestly, it is really, really good.
