Summary

The creator demonstrates an app she built to help people get better photos of themselves by using reference images as overlays. She explains how she used the AI tool Cursor to quickly code the Pinterest integration for the app while she was busy.

2Introduce the app solution and how it works

I built this for the moments that don’t come around often… ✈️the once-in-a-lifetime trip that finally made it out of the group chat 💍the destination wedding, where you had to take 3 flights to get there but it was so worth it to see friends you haven’t seen in 15 years 🍰the birthday dinner everyone actually made it to these are the moments I always wish I had better photos of, but I also don’t want be that annoying person who keeps bugging people to retake the photo so I built this little app for myself & my friends to capture these moments more easily~ photo app, vibe coding, building apps without a technical background, vibe coding ideas for beginners, Japan vlog, photo ideas for Japan trip, planning Japan trip #cursor #cursorcreator

if you take good photos for everyone else but never seem to have good photos of yourself, I made this app for you. Just pick an inspo and it shows up as a sticker on your camera. Instead of explaining how you want the photo taken, your friend sees what you want and lines it up. While traveling in Japan, I got the idea to connect the app to Pinterest so I could pull in photos I saved. But I was running late for dinner, so I quickly opened Cursor, yapped about what I wanted, and ran out the door. When I came back, it was done. It even left me a little video of what it built while I was gone. And I never had to worry about running out of credits because Composer is faster and more cost-efficient than comparable models. Build the app you wish existed with Cursor.
