One thing the girls are gonna ask me for is a tutorial on this messy updo bun. A little overdue, but here it is. Starting out on some clean and stretched hair. Part of those edges and we're gonna add some moisture to the hair. Or be and for C girls, this step is not optional. Trust me, the hair needs to be damp. Now we're adding in some water-based gel. Listen, I like easy hairstyles. I'm not sectioning nothing. I literally only add gel to the outside layer. Once that gel is laid on, pick up a hard bristle brush and work that product in. Take the time to shape and place the slick back where you want it. And of course, tightly secure your little bun. Tightly. Tightly wrap your hair for at least 10 minutes before you take it down and do edges. Edges are obviously optional. I always do mine 'cause it gives a little sum. Make sure it's tied down for another 10 minutes. If you get a little white cast from too much product, just clean it up. And lock in flyaways with a wax stick. Grab the start of our show the kinky curly pony. I love this pony down. Don't worry, 'cause we're about to do a lot of judging. You're gonna want to grip the hair into the shape you want. Use your pony to secure each section. Really just play with it. Some days it's gonna be short, other days it's gonna be long. Every day it's gonna eat. Period. Bye.
