£20 snack swap challenge at M&S 🥺

My boyfriend and I are setting each other a challenge. We've both got a £20 budget to spend in M&S and we're gonna pick out some bits for each other and then have a little evening picnic. So, we're going into M&S. Guys, I actually really want to do this well. I actually want to buy him things he'll like, even though I'm tempted to buy things I like. But we do have quite different taste buds. I'm actually a seasoned M&S snacker. My boyfriend isn't. So there's snacks here that I can see that are really easy for him to get. I don't know what he'll like. I'm gonna have to guess. If he knows me, he's gonna get me crisp and dip. So do I get him crisp and dip too? I'm tempted to get him this, but he doesn't like pistachio or chocolate, but the name is funny. He doesn't like crisp and he doesn't like chocolate, but he does like sweet. Fizzy sweets. So I'm gonna get him these. So these are the Colin the Caterpillars. So I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna do these jam doughnuts. I'm gonna do something that I would never buy in a million years, but I know he'd love it. It's these jam tarts and he's such a jam tart kind of guy. So I'm gonna do that. And I'm also gonna put these jam doughnuts too. Clearly, there's a theme here. He likes sweet stuff. I'm gonna get him these basil marinated king prawns and tomatoes. I think he'll like them. I'm gonna get him these cheesecake slices because he loves that. What the hell? They had the pepperoni pizza hot melting dip. I need to come back for it. That is insane. They've actually got so many more new dips as well. Creamy red pepper dip and I'm gonna make the active decision that I think he's gonna like this. I'm gonna get him anchovies just to irritate him. But instead, I'm gonna get him these calamari rings as well. I'm gonna get him pickled cauliflower. He's either gonna hate this or he's gonna love it. I've got these little cocktail blinis. I'm gonna get these so that he can put his prawns and his calamari on top of them. I've spotted these citrusy kumquats. I'm gonna grab these because the boy loves fruit and trying new fruits. So I think he'll enjoy this. And then for the dip, I'm gonna grab these baked sesame pretzel thins. He hasn't tried these before, but I think he'll like them. I secured the goods, but unfortunately, I was £9 over, so my total came to £29.95 because I wasn't checking the price of anything. But at the same time, I think everything I've got is a little bit rogue. We're gonna get in the car now and show each other what we've got. I'm so excited. On my life, zero.
