One thing to add when I put the 2x salaries for startup employees/founders that also accounts for severance and an additional liquidation buffer too as well as uncertainty in hiring. When I evaluate companies on a venture capital side I try to figure out what assumptions they’re missing to back into true burn. #venturecapital #siliconvalley #startups
