Breaking The The AI detection platform GPTZero has been acquired by Superhuman, formerly known as This was announced this morning. It's at an undisclosed valuation, but this is a really big deal. And why is this a really big deal? Well, that guy right there, that's Alex. And Alex is a grad really good friend of mine from Caltech. I'm also a very small angel investor in GPTZero, and this is my first major acquisition as a venture capitalist. I started angel investing five years ago, and this is how long it takes to get to these transactions, to get to these exits. Venture capital is a long-term game, and a lot of people don't appreciate just how long it takes to even demonstrate that you have track record and that you are good at your job. But my job as venture capitals is the easy part. The hard part is actually building. I'm just picking the people I think can do. And the GPTZero team is one of the best I've ever seen. They've ever executed. They built a very sustainable product with real revenue. And they saw and they recognise this trend before AI Labs and before anyone else did. So congrats to them.
