Here is the template I use to send messages to peers on LinkedIn that I want to connect with. It's very simple, super easy, very quick. I use it when I don't have LinkedIn Premium and I only have 200 characters to send a message. But this is literally it. I say, "Hi [NAME], my name is Ajiri and I am really interested in applying to [PROGRAM]. I would love 20 minutes of your time to talk about your experience at [PROGRAM]. Thank you in advance!" And honestly, this works for me. I don't have LinkedIn Premium and I only have 200 characters to send a message. But this is literally it.
