Kid friendly AND grandma friendly lunch ❤️🙌 because food is love! ❤️🌈 my partner and I are Caregivers for her 85-year-old mom. She requires soft and lower sodium food. And of course, the rest of the family does not. This can make cooking for the whole family a bit complicated. Today we have a guest over, and it’s their birthday. And I wanted to throw together a quick, but fun birthday lunch for them. But we still had to feed our aging parent who needs soft and lower sodium food. And we didn’t want her feeling left out in the festivities. So here’s how I pull together a quick, fun lunch for multigenerational family with an aging parent who needs soft and lower sodium food. Relying on prepped ingredients and freezer ingredients is always a good hack to get food on the table fast. GREEK YOGURT CHICKEN SALAD 1 cup shredded chicken, cut super small 3 tbsp greek yogurt 1 tbsp mayo 1 tbsp seedless jam 1 tsp mustard 1/4 tsp dried, ground poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp sea salt 1/8 tsp white pepper 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp ginger powder 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp garam masala DIRECTIONS In a bowl, mix together greek yogurt, mayo, jam, mustard, and dried spices Cut chicken super small so it's easy to chew Add to dressing and mix until evenly combined if you are living that Caregiver life for a grandparent or aging parent and you need a little help in the kitchen, give my channel a follow #c#caregivera#agingparentss#softfood
