FATHER'S DAY, things that my me when I three things that my dad did for me that I think really helped set me up for success in life. The first was he taught me how to make friends. He basically told me, go up to somebody, say, "Hi, my name is Chelsea. What's your name?" And then whatever they say back, say, "That's a pretty cool name." And then invite them to do something that I was already gonna do. So I'd be, you know, play in the sandbox. Do you wanna come with me? And then I was the center of a social interaction. Like I didn't have to wait to be included. He taught me how to include myself and to include others and to make friends. Next is he would take me on Father daughter dates. Usually we would, like, read books together, browse around. We did this until I was, like, a teenager. We'd get hot chocolates and I just loved spending time with him. It helped me learn to love books and I just really treasure those memories. It also set a high standard for anyone who wanted to be in my life, which leads me to number three. He always had me repeat the golden rule, which is, we don't have people in our life who don't treat friends, employers, people were dating. And I just think telling me that over and over really instilled it in my head. And I think you could implement all three of these with your kids, that you should. And happy Father's Day. Okay?
