Things you can't understand about business, until you've actually been in business: If you guys are new here, my name's Matt. I run a seven-figure commercial construction company. And I've been the owner of it for about 16 months now. And out on my own for about two years. This shit is way harder than it is portrayed out to be. You can see all these people online advertising and encouraging to go buy a business or replace your 9 to 5 income. And while that's true, and I do think it's possible, I'm not here to discourage anyone. Just know that it is way harder than you expect. No matter what the situation is, it is going to be harder, it's going to take more time, it's going to take more emotional intelligence, it's going to take more patience, and it's going to be flat out stressful, and sometimes miserable, to be quite honest. But in the end, I hope to say that it is worth it. I'm early on in my journey and just want to bring this up to anybody that's thinking about making that switch from employee to employer. Just know that it is going to be a very difficult and some of the hardest days that you've ever had.
