If you're not paying for movers and you're doing all the moving yourself, you are spending a ton of time and energy and it's just not worth it. You might as well just pay the movers to do everything for you. They'll have the truck, they'll have the moving supplies, they'll have everything they need to give you an efficient and quick move. Next thing are carts or wagons that you can get from you, Costco or Target, where you can just put a bunch of stuff, small boxes, small items, everything in that matter that you can just throw in there and take it around with you. This is great for people that are in an apartment because you're going from hallway to hallway, from elevator down to the parking lot, and it takes a lot of effort if they're not in a wagon. And the last one is to do move out cleaners. If you do get professional cleaners done yourself, you will end up saving a little bit more on your deposit because they'll clean out the place, they'll make sure everything is prepared for your move.
