Women's desire to grow and evolve can feel almost innate and something that is outside of our control. Two works that I love that look at this in very different ways are lady lady by Olivia Dean and King by Florence and the machine. And Olivia Dean's lady lady it's more of a strategic realization and a calling towards something outside of yourself that's asking you to change and grow to meet it where she says there's something calling and she's always re-arranging me without a word and I was just getting used to her. That lady lady she's the man I think she's got a master plan. And in Florence and the machines it's more violent where she says but a woman is a change language. always shifting shapes. Just when you haven't figured out something new begins to take. What strange claws are these scratching at my skin? I never knew my killer would be coming from within. And the common theme they have between the two of them is just as you were starting to figure it out, just as you were starting to love and get used to yourself. You evolve and you grow yet again. And I love how beautiful both of these songs are and how much they make me love always changing and always evolving and never staying the same. When I look at pictures or journal entries from myself even five months ago, I don't recognize her, but I have a lot of love for her. Okay.
