It has taken me about a month of prototyping, but I think I finally come up with the perfect design for my throwable camera. Version 1 was a really rough prototype, just a straight cube. It had a GoPro on the center. It saw out in one direction, but it overall worked pretty well. It was magnetic on the side. Version 2 was much bigger and bulkier because I added a much bigger camera, but it is a 360 degree, so we can see everything around it all the time. The only issue was these get in the way. Version 3 was a failed attempt. I didn't do the math correctly, but I wanted these slabs to act as the centerpieces. That way the actual viewpoint from the center isn't as obscured. But you still get the same amount of structural because you're basically the same amount of filaments here. And with this, I worked out all of the kinks and now the 360 degree camera fits inside it. I'll show you is much, much better than version 2. And it's really structurally secure. Let's do a bit of measuring. This is version 1, the camera inside it. It comes out to 1 pound and 4 ounces. Version 2 is gonna come out to 1 and 7.7 ounces. So I wanna say like 50, 60% more and version 4 is 1 pound and 4.7 ounces. So a significant improvement over version 2. So we improve significantly, value from version 4 over version 2 is the field of view. This 360 camera can see everything around it, but those bars get in the way. You can definitely you definitely have field of view, but they're just kinda killing the vibe. Now compare version 2 to what you get with version 4. View is significantly improved. I don't think we compromise at all on structural stability. So I'd say around maybe like 65 to 70% field of view to around like 85 to 90%. And then there are a couple of extra bonuses. 2, I had compromise. In order to properly protect and shield the camera, add this butt and that doesn't make it very symmetrical. It's ugly, it's a little inefficient. Um, this is totally neutral all the way around. So, yeah, I'm done with this is taking me I'm really excited. Um, I'm probably gonna paint it and I'm going to mods that I can magnetically attach to the side, itself is complete. Using it in live streams, every Wednesday at around like 6 ish PM Eastern Time in the US. Um, very cool. About it. Any questions or for modifications, let the comments. But yeah, sick.
