Things you didn't know about the September 11th tragedy part 2. Home video of 2nd plane. Inside the North Tower lobby. 7. A firefighter died from falling person. Number seven, people jumping from the north tower became deadly missiles for the firefighters trying to get into the lobby. And one of the firefighters was actually hit by a falling person and killed. And when the firefighters first went into the lobby, there are people that on fire that they had to put out. The whole lobby looked like a bomb had gone off. 8. Fireball exploded from the elevators... Officially, what happened was when the plane hit the tower, I guess a fireball went down all the elevator and elevator shafts and blew out the lobby. And that's why all the glass shattered. Others there suspect that there were actually explosions before the plane hit. 9. An employee & others claim bomb in basement. One of those people being William Rodriguez, who was there and actually was the last survivor out of the North Tower before it collapsed. He worked at the North Tower for over 20 years, said explosion in the basement before the plane actually hit. Explosion. In the lobby. They The third explosion, the whole lobby collapsed on us. 10. People scaled the building for safety. Inside the tower at the top floors were so bad that people were literally scaling outside of the skyscraper to find air, wouldn't basically. 11. Roof access was locked. And there was groups of people that tried to make it up to the roof, but it was locked because people wouldn't go up and basically jump off. People tried to go up there because in the 1993 bombing of the tower, they actually rescued people off the roof with a helicopter. 12. Too hot for helicopters to land on roof. Helicopter thought operators thought about going, but they didn't see anyone on the roof, plus there was tons of smoke and it would have been too hot for the choppers to land. 13. Employees in South Tower told to stay. This on, everyone in the South Tower, which hadn't been hit yet, they were told to not evacuate, but to stay in place. Certain in that office that had left their office, to go back. 14. 2nd plane hit live on TV. The news cameras were on the twin towers and they caught the second plane coming into frame 9:03, slamming into the tower near the 77th floor. I remember watching this period in my first period in eighth grade, everyone was silent. No idea what was happening. 15. The building shook for 4 minutes. Slammed into the corner of the building going 500 miles per hour, the building shook for 4 minutes. Lucky for some in the South Tower, one of the elevators was actually spared. So some people the impact line actually around 43 people were able to escape. Part 3?! At this point, everyone knew that this wasn't an accident. This was an attack. And it was far from over.
