I don't want to own a house. I don't want to own my primary residence. I would rather take my money and invest it in the stock market or purchase businesses or build businesses or own rental properties. I don't want to live in a house in a city that I don't like just because it's cheaper so I can say I own a house. We had the big house in the small town. We had the big backyard. And owning a home is not everybody's dream. I thought it was mine. I loved this house. But I didn't love being car reliant. I didn't love living somewhere where there wasn't very much to do. Our big Friday nights were having a bonfire in the yard. And after a while, owning this house felt isolating and boring. The weather was terrible, kept us inside all the time. We sold this house and moved to the city to live in a smaller apartment and I'm grateful. There are more ways to financially be successful other than owning a house, guys.
