everything I’ve learned about careers & interviews ⬇️ 1. your CV doesn’t have to be just 1 page - it can be longer and, a couple years in your career, it should be longer 2. you can’t dress however you want when it comes to going to the office and interviews - you need to figure out how to be professional, especially if you’re Gen Z (no office siren) 3. LinkedIn is still a great tool to get a job in 2026, you just have to accept that it’s going to be high volume 4. you could tick every box in an interview, be the “perfect person”, and they might just not like you and reject you anyways - it sucks, accept it, move on 5. interviews are a performance - get with the program 6. job titles don’t matter - think about the salary, career progression, and the work you’ll actually be doing 7. if you’re early in your career and have 0 idea what you want to do, are ambitious, and you want to make money, go into sales - one of the best ways to pick up a lot of skills in your 20s 8. you might not have a bad skillset or be an under performer, you might just have a bad manager and a bad company - leave and watch how you thrive 9. work smarter, not harder - the hardest worker rarely ever gets rewarded properly for their hard work 10. corporate life is all about packaging (your CV, job applications, promotions) - learn how to package and reap the rewards #corporatelife #interviews #cv #jobmarket #careeradvice
