If you’re a first-generation medical student or professional, I want you to hear this: There are so many rules nobody writes down, yet somehow everyone expects you to know them. It can make you feel like you’re behind when, in reality, you were just never given the playbook. That’s one of the biggest reasons I started this series. I don’t want you to have to learn every lesson the hard way like so many of us did.
