My first Chanel 🥺🖤

I can't believe I'm saying this. I can't believe I'm saying this right now. But I'm going to the Chanel flagship store in Paris today. At the iconic 31 Rue Cambon. I know designer bags aren't everyone's things, so totally skip if this isn't for you. I just never thought this day would come. And by that, I mean there would be personal and professional successes that has me going to buy my first Chanel for myself. The last two years since I resigned from teaching and went full time into content creation have been a wild ride. Being an educator was the hardest job I've ever done. But this is hard in a different way. A lot of doubt, questioning, and wanting to prove to myself I can do this. Okay, let's get into it. I went in with three things. An imposter syndrome, a perfect outfit, and a dad set on the Chanel 25. I got over the imposter syndrome because the sales associate was so sweet and told me she loved my outfit and, wait for it, I'm an elegant woman, off to a good start. I like the 25, but worried it may be too trend forward. And the moment I tried on the classic flap, my heart was stolen. This bag is so special to me. It represents me to keep being a delusional dreamer, keep taking risks. And the fact that it's really only the beginning. Life does start at 40. And in style. And now in Chanel. Oh my god.
