You see, that's the problem with being genuinely unbothered and coming online and sharing that I'll have a child when I'm ready in my mid to late 30s, and I'm happy with that. You get these back-handed comments or I don't even know if it's that. They're just completely unhelpful and add nothing to the discussion. And it's usually along the lines of, well, you know, I got one that I can't be bothered to, like, video reply, but it was, I can't imagine having a baby premenopausal. I'm so glad I have my child at 22. But you do you, and it's like, okay, so listen, all I got out of that is that you had your child at a time and age where you felt like it was right for you, and I'm gonna go on and do the exact same thing. But what I think is actually happening is me being unbothered about it and that there are some women, whether they want to admit it or not, that rushed into it because they panic and they thought fuck if I have a child. Or they fell into it and realised, oops, I'm the mother now. Why are people so bothered that I would rather wait until I'm in a financially better position. Until I have that level of broodiness. And because I know it's right for me, because I feel it.
