It must be really nice to not understand how bad the job market is right now. To have not experienced it. To likely have your cushy office job that you've been at for five years and either A, haven't had to seek a new job or B, don't know what it's like to look for a job when you need one desperately. This job market is not kind. It is honestly volatile. And yes, I am now someone that has a job. I got, I got that job, but I still had that period of unemployment, like nine to 12 months. I always take off three cause three months I was unaware. I was doing the fun employment. I was. I'm just gonna enjoy this period of time to myself and then I'll go look for. And when I started looking, it's. I just slowly start to realize this isn't quite how it usually is. Like it's taking me longer, I'm getting more rejections. A lot of things are falling through the net and just don't make sense as to why. Probably because they're hiring internally or they're not real vacancies. Those things. Those things. If people haven't experienced it, I feel like there's a lot of people that just have the complete wrong perspective. They still imagine it to be how it was for them when they landed a job really quickly. Or there are people that obviously have empathy and understand. But it will never be the same as when you have been and when you have suffered and when you have had rejection after rejection after rejection and it started to hit your self-esteem. That is a different experience. So, um, yeah. Now that I have a job, doesn't mean I'm gonna stop talking about the job market. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna share the stats. Because people are still day out. And if anything, government is just skewing the statistics to make it look like it's not as it is, when it's awful. It's horrendous. And even them not to compare. But when I was unemployed, um, late 2024, it was not being reported. It was not. Like, I wasn't aware because it also wasn't on the newspapers like it is now. So I'm glad it's at the forefront and I'm glad that we're aware that if you speak to someone that might be in their happy job, they're aware that the job market is rough. They've heard it from friends and family of people or so and so hasn't had a job in six months. They're understanding that it's quite, it's not just that so and so didn't put enough effort into her job search. Do you get what I mean? So I'm in a different, but my heart still goes out for people and have been for a while, because it is a very isolating, tough journey to be on.
