Hook
Take the crappy job, the pay cut to just get back in my field of marketing, to have a job again. And I even took a job that was in five days a week, two hours everyday commuting to and from the office. And struggled, but I was very grateful for the job. Sometimes when you move backwards, you might gosh, if I've taken this step backwards, how am I going to get back to either where I was, baseline, or even further of where I want to be? Do you know what I mean? For us, especially in the tough markets that we're in, you might have to move backwards to move forwards. But that step back isn't always the worst case. It may suck in the interim. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. It might not be the environment, the culture, the money might not be up to what we were before redundant. But it's a place to be. And stones really careers we, stones. We needed. We can't just constantly leap from pond to pond.
