✨ Okay mamas, let’s talk about the muscle nobody hypes up: ✨your serratus anterior ✨ I feel like this one gets skipped over allllll the time, but it deserves way more love especially in pregnancy and postpartum (yes even if you’re years out) Here’s why I program for it constantly: 1. Your posture will thank you. Your body is shifting and carrying weight differently than it used to and this muscle helps you stay upright and takes pressure off your lower back. 2. Your shoulders need it. A strong serratus keeps your scapula stable, which matters for literally everything …including hours of holding, feeding, and carrying a newborn. And keeping your shoulders in place then helps keeps your ribs down and not out. (Bye bye rib flare) 3. It’s part of your core. Not just abs, mama. this muscle helps stabilize your whole trunk as your belly grows or as you rebuild in postpartum. 4. Rebuilding strength here helps restore posture and core stability after birth. This is why you’ll see moves like this pop up again and again in my programs.. it’s a full-body approach. Want in? 👇🤍 #ribflare #motherhood #diastasisrecti
