Okay, so I have naturally fine hair and one of the struggles I've always had in life is that most hair tools are entirely too rough or cause too much tension, so they either break my hair off on the ends or rip my hair out of the scalp. So what happens is not only am I not retaining length, but then my hair gets super thin. So one thing that I have found is using hair tools designed by Black cosmetologists, they tend to be gentler because they're tested on us before they actually get sold. Because I do feel like a lot of these hair tools are not made with me in mind, at least not at all. So let me just show you this. I'm going to clip my hair off so I don't double apply product before detangling. Now, this is the Imania Beauty brush and look how it's gliding through my hair. I do have some tangles, but look at that. It's not ripping my hair out. It's also not breaking my hair off on the ends. It just glides like butter. You need one of these.
