[ EVENT ] AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST MYSTERY ART SHOW LANDS IN BRISBANE FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH 12,000 ARTWORKS AT $100 EACH The Incognito Art Show is making its Brisbane debut this July, bringing around 12,000 original artworks to Long Island in Newstead, every single one priced at a flat $100. Here is the twist: every artist is anonymous, and you only find out who made your piece when you flip it over and read the signature on the back. Contributors range from schoolchildren and first time painters through to some of the country’s most collected names, so the piece you grab for $100 could be worth a whole lot more. It is billed as Australia’s biggest and most inclusive art show, and 100% of the profits go to artists living with disability. THE $100 MYSTERY 🎨 The collection: 12,000 original artworks, each one postcard sized, each one a flat $100 🖊️ The catch: the artist stays secret until you buy, with the name only revealed on the back 🏆 The gamble: this year’s show features Archibald winners such as Laura Jones, Ben Quilty, Blak Douglas and Julia Gutman, whose work usually sells for thousands. WHERE THE MONEY GOES 🤝 The cause: 100% of profits go to studios supporting artists living with disability 🖌️ The local link: Brisbane’s proceeds back Access Arts, Queensland’s leading arts and disability organisation 🖼️ The frame: custom, Australian made frames are an optional add on, sized to fit each A5 work GOOD TO KNOW 🎟️ Free entry, no bookings needed, just turn up 🗓️ The in person sale runs Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July at Long Island, Newstead ✍🏻 Buyers are limited to three works each and it is first in, first served, so get there early 💻 Leftover and interstate works go online from 6pm on the Sunday 📍 @Incognito Art Show is at Long Island Brisbane - 10 Festival Place, Newstead 🗓️ Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July 2026 Who are you taking with you?
