It's no sweat summer, slow cooker series. This week I'm partnering with Big Y to bring you this week's recipe. We're gonna do some baked potatoes in the slow cooker, have some friends over, do a baked potato bar. It's gonna be great and we're not gonna be sweating in our kitchen. But first, we have to head to the store. So let's go. I'm at Big Y, I know that I can get all the fresh fruits and veggies we need for our big potato bar. I can even get special items like dairy-free or gluten-free items. Prepping this baked potato bar could not get any easier. You just wash and dry your potatoes, spray them with olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, roll them up in the foil and place them in your slow cooker. You're gonna continue to do this until you have enough potatoes for your guests or that fills your slow cooker. You're gonna cover this and put it on low for five to six hours. Our baked potatoes are done. I'm gonna leave them right in here on warm and prep some of our toppings. You can really get creative with the toppings that you use on your baked potato bar. I stuck to bacon, broccoli, sour cream, cheese, butter, and red onion on the side. I had a fresh garden salad and I was able to get everything right at Big Y. This is great for summer entertaining because it's minimal effort, you're not heating up your kitchen. Everyone can customize their potato to their liking. It's fun and interactive and even the kids love it. Let me know if you make this and happy no sweat summer!
