It's time for another long-awaited weekly marketing round-up because I just could not pass up this week. So with that said, here's some marketing campaigns that caught my eye this week. First up is the rebrand for Update. Of course, we have to start off with Miss Kim K. Do you guys remember when people kept telling the Kardashians to fire whoever their creative or marketing teams are? Specifically with Kim K and Kylie Jenner because they're so iconic and there's so many things that they could be doing creatively with all their brands, but they always pick the most stale and boring things. That's someone who works in the social and creative field, it's so unsatisfying to me, watching all these lackluster ads and campaigns from someone who has a billion dollar budget. But it is safe to say that Kim K heard our cries because this new re-launch for Update, everything and more. You guys can go back and watch the ad, it was so good. But they essentially re-launched their energy drink brand called Update. I remember when they first launched this pack in the beginning of the year, it was so lackluster and boring and literally gray. And a lot of people were like, you literally have an infinite budget and this is what you come up with? It was so boring. And now she hired the right people. Whoever she hired, they're tens for you. A pluses. And I also love that the visual direction is on point as well, and it ties very nicely into the whole brand universe. Okay, up next is the brand Lore, which is a fragrance brand and I've talked about them on here before and genuinely, I'm obsessed with them. Their fragrances are super, super unique and each of them have a whole story and world behind them. And it's quite literally my favorite thing ever. I love when scents tie to experiences and they took it to a whole new level. And this new fragrance is supposed to be inspired by cereal milk. So they partnered with Happier Grocery this week. And yes, you guys see that cereal box that is such good attention to detail. I love it. Ten out of 10. There's way more to like the Lore, no pun intended, behind this fragrance. And it's supposed to be nostalgic, based on like a couple in an apartment and it's supposed to be inspirational, like a whole world. And I love that they're doing an experiential marketing like this in New York. That's such a great way to further bring your product to life while also involving your community. And I love it. 10 out of 10. And lastly, we have the brand Garage, which this is not necessarily this week, but they have been doing a very unique stealth strategy when it comes to retail marketing and also just fashion marketing in general. They are allowing employees to create relatable content in stories that surrounds their clothing. So for those who have noticed, they have been doing a very unique stealth strategy when it comes to retail marketing and also just fashion marketing in general. They are allowing employees to create relatable content in stories that surrounds their clothing. I don't know about you guys, but I've been seeing these videos all over my FYP page like all over. And I get super high engagement because it's obviously very relatable content. But you also are asking, wait, what's that? That girl's wearing. And I have just noticed a very positive shift in their brand because literally no one was talking about them about like a year and a half ago. And now they're everywhere. I feel like everything about them has drastically improved. Even their like clothing styles. So shout out to whoever's behind this whole strategy thing on the marketing team at Garage. You guys are killing it. Keep up the good work. And that's all I have for you this week. This was a great week for marketing. Keep it up.
