Rose, I trust you with everything when it comes to makeup recommendations, but will the new Hung Vanngo foundation actually look good on my acne-prone and textured skin? Let's find out. Welcome back to my series called Is it a makeup trend or does it just look good on clear smooth skin? A series where you try out popular new makeup products on a skin type not so much seen on social media. And I take you guys through a full unfiltered application, different lighting check, and full day wear test. All right, we're going to start off with skin prep. You guys already know, First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads. I apply a little sulfur spot treatment at night, so I just use this to wipe it off in the morning. Then we're going to go in with Spray Away. This is the antibacterial hydrating spray from my brand 9to5 Skin. The crazy thing about this is there are 38 shades in the line, but they're supposed to have no undertone. Says customized neutrals by skin tone designed for seamless match and balanced skin. It's supposed to provide medium to full coverage with a natural blurred look. Designed for long-wear performance from day to night. I have a packed day today, so we'll see about that. And it's supposed to be infused with skincare ingredients. Anytime a makeup product comes out from a makeup artist, I have a different expectation when reviewing it. I'm loving this packaging. Shade 6. Ooh, it's a very liquidy formula. Now these are supposed to lean neutral. I feel like that's leaning kind of yellow on me, no? Let's try the shade 4. I think shade 4 will be my perfect match. You guys know I'm not a big primer person, so I'm just going to use my hydrating SPF 30. One of my biggest pet peeves is when beauty influencers don't put sunscreen on under their makeup tutorials. This is the second sample of my SPF 30. You guys are going to have to let me know your thoughts. So let's grab shade 4. We have a little dual-ended brush here, so I'm going to stipple the product. Oh, this is a very soft brush, but it has the right amount of density. Wait, I'm actually a little bit shocked by this shade match. My body is a lot more tan than my face right now. Maybe we can actually mix in a little bit of shade 6. I'm actually shocked by the amount of coverage I'm getting out of this, considering how thin of a formula. Sitting so lightweight on the skin. I'm going to actually take shade 4 on the smaller brush. Let's see how much we can use this as our concealer today. Let's take the full brush. Wow, great coverage. So here's the foundation fully applied to the skin. I haven't been this impressed by a foundation in a minute. Let's go in with the rest of my face makeup. I love just using one brush for everything, especially that I use my foundation with, because then I get like a really nice seamless blend. I really wanted to do like a bright orange blush today. I don't have one here in my Montreal studio. Time to set though, we're going to be using my trusty Laura Mercier powder. Whenever I test out new makeup, I try to keep the rest of my base with products I already know. Really impressed with how smooth the foundation is laying on its own on the skin, too. Base powder is going to make that appear smoother since the light is not reflecting off my skin as much. Okay guys, the makeup is done. We're going to set down with my Charlotte Tilbury. Let me take out this hair while I give that a second to dry down. And here is the finished makeup look. I think the foundation looks really great on the skin. It's definitely looking a lot more full coverage now that it's kind of set down and I've added powder and everything. But it's not emphasizing my texture too much, which I'm definitely happy about. Of course, I have to show you guys what this looks like in different lighting. This is in front of my ring light. So if I take the ring light away, we can see how my texture is a lot more emphasized. Makeup will always just sit on top of the skin and it will only look as smooth as your skin is underneath. No ring light, this is the foundation in just natural lighting. And here is the makeup in some bathroom overhead lighting. I'm going to go chill by my pool for a bit and then I have a lot of errands to run and it is hot today. So we're going to see how this lasts throughout the day. It's currently 11:00 p.m. I've had this on for over 12 hours. I sat at the pool in the sun for literally half the day. No touch-ups and honestly, I'm not looking as oily as I thought I would. Have a little bit of creasing under the eyes. This sometimes happens when you use foundation as concealer just because it's a thinner formula. It hasn't really creased into my smile lines. Not too much between my eyebrows, just a little bit on my forehead there. Hasn't clung to any of my dryness, which is always a good sign as well. Overall, it's looking really, really nice. We haven't lost any of the coverage. It's not looking patchy. It's worn really, really beautifully. A little bit of wearing around the nose, but overall stayed very intact. Wasn't expecting it to be so long-wearing. So I definitely have to agree with Rose. I think this is one of the best new launched foundations I have tried in a minute. This might be my new go-to for the summer. I want to hear what you guys think. Remember to tell yourself something you love about your skin today, and I'll see you in the next video. Bye.
