the market for lip products right now is so extremely oversaturated. So today, we are taking it back to basics and I'm going to show you what I truly believe are the best lip products from each category. First up for lipstick, this is the reformulated version of my original favorite. And I actually do really love the reformulation and this case. This is the MAC Maximalist sleek satin lipstick in shade 835 Modesty. I have neutral cool-toned skin and this works so well with my skin tone. I wore this on my wedding day. That's how much I love it. It lasts all day on my lips. It looks beautiful. It doesn't overly emphasize the lines on my lips. It feels nice and soft, it doesn't dry them out. I really, really like this. Next up for lip balm, this comes as zero surprise. My favorite is the Olehenriksen pout preserve peptide lip treatment. Honestly, pretty reminiscent of like black honey. It smells incredible, super thick, super moisturizing, super glossy. It's not sticky. It lasts so well on my lips. I cannot say enough good things about this. Next up for my favorite blurred matte lip, we have the Peripera Ink Velvet in shade 17 Rosy Nude. I know it looks shiny on my hand, but usually what I like to do is swipe it on the back of my hand first, then take a little bit on my finger, dab it into my lips and it becomes the perfect blurred look. And this stuff actually lasts all day on my lips, which I really appreciate. Next up for my favorite gloss, we have the NYX Jelly Job lip gloss specifically in shade Jelly Bean. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the one thing I don't like about this is the silicone applicator. It's nice because the product doesn't stick onto it, but I think that's also the problem. You don't get a very smooth application with this. It's easy to kind of get into a gloopy mess. So you have to be very careful when you're applying it, but if you apply it right, this looks gorgeous. It is so shiny, it's not sticky, nice and moisturizing. I absolutely love the way this looks and feels on my lips. Here's a look at the shade. Next up for liner, this has been a favorite of mine for so long. This is the Makeup Forever Artist Color Pencil in shade 506 Endless Kiss. And it's like, this swatch is very creamy. It swipes onto my lips without tugging. It lasts so long on my lips. It compliments them so well. The formula is incredible. Next up for my lip stain, we have the Time for Ya Stellar Dust lip stain in shade Future 11. It is a bit warmer of like a rosy pink. Honestly, it's more neutral. It pulls warmer on me because I have cool undertones. But this stuff is beautiful. It's super smooth, it's super shiny, it's so easy to build up. If you want a deeper stain. I did an old day wear test on this and it was actually visible all the way at the end of the day. Last but not least, for lip oil, we have the Saie Glossy Bounce lip oil. It's a more sheer pink. I actually have a little bit on my lips right now. As you can see, very, very shiny. I've had this on for a little bit, so the shininess has gone down, but it's still visible. It is super smooth and it is not sticky. Again, beautifully glossy and you can sort of see the tint. It is more sheer though.
