This is how we're raising a child genius. We are inspired by a guy called Laszlo Polgar. He is a Hungarian psychologist and he believed that geniuses were created and not born. He put this to the test with his three daughters. They turned out to be exceptional by any standards and went on to be chess who made history. Obviously, genetics play a big part. Ultimately, the hand gets played by the environment, the child practices, hears, sees, enjoys every day over several years. And this is the crux of Polgar's our philosophy. Our job isn't to manufacture a child prodigy. Our daughter's only three years old. We don't know what her ceiling is and to be honest, that isn't our business. What's important for us is building a strong foundation. So a rich language, stretching her attention, making sure she doesn't freak out when we tell her not yet. And also making sure her curiosity is fed rather than being managed. And then between the ages of five to six is when we start specialization to this, are a genius. It might sound different, but it's something to think about if you are a parent who's trying to raise your children intentionally.
