This is the only question you need to ask yourself when determining if your current partner is end game for you. Okay? It's only one question, but you have to be honest. Hypothetically, if you had a child with your partner and your kid ended up being 100% like your partner. Would you love that child? 100% like your partner? Or is your immediate reaction something that makes you cringe? And it gives you the ick and you're like, oh, I wish they'd actually kind of take after me more. That answer says it all. Because most people have that intuition of whether or not the person they're with is their person. But they fight against it. They're like, no, I'm going to make it work. I'm going to make it work and they end up living a very miserable life and both them and their partner end up resenting each other as years go by, right? But if you ask yourself that question and your immediate reaction is, oh my god, a mini version of my wife. I couldn't have drew it up any better, right? If that's the way it makes you feel, then that's your person. Because they say your partner is a reflection of you, right? And if it's an immediate pride and joy thinking of your future child hypothetically being exactly like your partner, then that's your person.
